In the 2023 EduRank list of 100 Best Universities in the Philippines, DLSU placed 1,643rd among 14,131 evaluated universities globally, making it the top Philippine private university. La Salle is ranked first in the country in the academic fields of Business, Computer Science, Economics, Math, and Psychology.

Taking on the challenges of a global society, De La Salle University actively collaborates with international partner institutions such as the ASEAN University Network, of which it is a founding member. DLSU is the first university in the region to be conferred by the said body the Quality Mark at the Institutional Level.

Accredited Level IV by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities, DLSU is the first university accorded the highest accreditation status. DLSU is also recognized by the Philippine Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as having Centers of Excellence in the fields of Accountancy, Biology, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Teacher Education.

De La Salle University’s undergraduate engineering programs have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology.

As a Catholic coeducational institution founded in 1911 by the Brothers of the Christian Schools, DLSU continues to pursue Christian, educational ideals geared towards social transformation and people empowerment.
