About the Company
Batangas Bay Terminal, Inc. (BBTI) said to be the brain-child of Mr. Ramon A. Yulo (+) & Mr. Jose A. Yulo, Jr. (+) was incorporated on February 2, 1972 (SEC Reg. No. 46484). The purpose is to handle export sugar of Luzon particularly from Canlubang Sugar Estate & other Southern Luzon sugar mills.
Today BBTI’s operation centers in operating the terminal facilities for several companies engaged in storing and handling chemical products.
At the height of its sugar outloading and hauling operations, BBTI had around 230 employees. Today BBTI has only 10 employees. A contracted private security agency maintains the security and safety of the terminal premises. In addition, there are three (3) BBTI security guards who double up in overseeing the facility.
